When computers first came out it seemed as though there was a dying hope for all books. This was until the ebook era began. Yes it is true that ebooks have been out almost as long as the Internet has been, but there was still a flaw in the system. There are not too many people who want to sit in front of their desktops all day and read a book because they could be doing so much more productive things with their time than that.
The solution to this problem is the tablet. The tablet has become the portable revolution of the world and has revolutionized the book market. A dying market that almost was placed by the Internet completely was saved by a portable book reader. But with this comes many types of tablets released to the public because of the opportunity for profit. Out of the dozens of ebook readers that are out currently there are only a few that were really worth the money and didn’t come with their own set of problems.

The most popular ebook reader is actually one of the best in the market. The Kindle has been able to start this market with a boom and been able to stay on top of the market. With its wifi capabilities and it’s touch screen on it’s newest models it offers everything much more expensive competitors are offering.
The next big move that Amazon is taking with their tablet is that they a going to substantially drop the price of their tablet to begin competing with competitors that rare more limited on their options but offer the same concept as kindle does with half the price. Now, at an awe inspiring price of $110 compared to the previous $160 that it was offered at there is hope for those who are dealing with handling a tight budget.
The Amazon Kindle price reduction should not be passed. Even though it is a permanent price set, this would end up being a great gift for those who do not yet have an ebook reader. Book stores all over are closing down so there is going to be no choice but to buy a ebook reader to keep up to date. That or you could just ignore society and growth of the human race, but your on the Internet so too late for that.
The Amazon Kindle is updated almost annually so even though for this model the price is set, getting the latest and greatest for an affordable price will only last for a certain amount of time. For all we know the amazon kindle price reduction is just a temporary fix that amazon is taking in order to increase their popularity. If this is true the getting one soon should be on the priority of anyone who would want one.
